On September 19, 2016 at 2:47 pm, Officers from the Hooksett Police Department responded to the Goodwill Store and Donation Center, located at 1292 Hooksett Road for a report of a hand grenade found in a clothing bag. We were able to view the device and determine that it was an old smoke grenade that had already been detonated. We took possession of the device and transferred it to the New Hampshire State Police; Explosive Division for disposal. At no time were any members of the public in danger.
