On March 5, 2016 at approximately 12:16 am Hooksett Police received a motor vehicle complaint about a vehicle traveling on Interstate 93 north with a front tire missing traveling approximately 2 mph in the middle lane. The caller followed this vehicle to the Fairfield Inn in Hooksett, NH where police were able to respond and identify the driver as:
David Mansfield, 37
Mansfield was run through field sobriety tests as he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested at this time and charged with Driving while intoxicated. He was brought back to the Police Department for further testing which revealed his breath alcohol to be .15. Mansfield was later released on personal recognizance bail.
