On August 23rd, 2015 at 1:36 am, Officer Drouin stopped a motor vehicle on West River Rd. for traveling 70 mph in a posted 35 mph zone. The operator of the vehicle was identified as:
Claude Niyonkuru, 25
Manchester, NH
While speaking with Niyonkuru it became apparent that he was under the influence of alcohol. Niyonkuru was asked to submit to standardized field sobriety tests which he agreed to and was subsequently placed under arrest. At the Hooksett Police Department, Niyonkuru agreed to a breath test and the results showed that his breath alcohol content was 0.14. Niyonkuru was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated and was released on $1,500.00 personal recognizance bail. Niyonkuru is scheduled to appear before the 6th Circuit Court in Hooksett on August 28th, 2015.
