On 11/6/15, an Epsom man was arrested on a Hooksett Police warrant for an alleged sex crime. At approximately 2:00 PM, Cameron Beaton, 23, turned himself in at the Hooksett Police station.
In late October, the Hooksett Police began an investigation into a sexual assault allegation involving Beaton and a minor child. The alleged crime occurred at USA Ninja Challenge, a gymnastics facility for children where Beaton is employed as a coach, and has since been placed on leave. “This case was fast moving and we want the public to be aware that this incident appears to be isolated to this location, but we want to encourage anyone who thinks they may have knowledge about this suspect or this case to contact Hooksett Police Detectives at 603-624-1560,” Chief Bartlett said.
Beaton was charged with one count of Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault, a Class-A Felony. He was released on $4,000 personal recognizance bail, with conditions prohibiting him for employment or volunteering at any facility involving minor children. Beaton will be arraigned at the 6th Circuit Court in Hooksett on 12/16/15.
