On August 14, 2016 at approximately 12:30AM Hooksett Police Officers were dispatched to the area of 70 Merrimack Street for a Domestic Disturbance. When Officer arrived a suspect vehicle was leaving. This vehicle was stopped down the road and the operator:
Norman Therrien, 61
was arrested at that time for DWI. Officers investigating the Disturbance learned that Therrien had assaulted his nephew by striking him in the head with a Dewalt flashlight after an argument. The victim was transported to the hospital to receive treatment for his injuries which were not considered life threatening. Therrien was released on $5,000.00 personal recognizance bail with a court date of August 23, 2016.
